TMNews: #13: Sept 18, 2017: Healthcare, Medicare Lawsuits, & Global PT

In this Monday, September 18th episode, we’re bringing you up to speed on the latest in Medicare and healthcare legislation. A new lawsuit was approved regarding observation status, and CMS has started educating about covering maintenance. The latest version of repeal and replace,The Graham-Cassidy bill, is making its way through the Senate. We’re talking not your average research study–we bring back Dave Walton back to chat about his work on the PhysioMoves Canada project. Lastly, we honor Spanish physical therapist Lorena Enebral Perez, who was shot and killed in Afghanistan by a patient last week.
